Out of Hiding
This week, we continue our journey through Acts by looking at the shocking story of Ananias and Sapphira alongside the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. In a world where it has never been easier to look okay on the outside while struggling on the inside, we’ll wrestle with the danger of pretending and the freedom that comes through honesty.
So often, pride keeps us hiding in our “pig sties,” convincing ourselves that if we admit we’re struggling, we’ll be judged or rejected. But throughout Scripture, we see that healing begins when honesty replaces performance. God’s grace meets us not in perfection, but in vulnerability, confession, and surrender.
Join us as we talk about what it means to be honest with ourselves, honest with God, and honest with others, and discover that the Father’s arms are still open for anyone willing to come home.
